layer break fab gold

I can't upgrade to platinum just yet without the missus putting me in the doghouse for unnecessary spending. The last time I tried to copy a long film using a DL blank resulted in stuttering a minute either side of the layer break point. At the time I was able to get Clone CD along with AnyDVD which sorted that. Apparently Fab Platinum has enjoyed some upgrades lately and doesn't suffer from this, but I was wondering if anyone can confirm that Fab Gold still does?

Fab Gold and Platinum are very similar, Gold just has fewer features. The LB performance of both should be identical. Remember that the layer break on a DL takes place at the edge of the disc where bad blanks or too high a burn speed are more likely to cause what you saw, especially if it happened on both sides of the break.
