| Just re-installed windows and lost 5.1 playback in windows media player 11 Hey guys, I run DVDFab 3.0.5.5 , anyways I just re-installed windows and now my 5.1 playback stopped working in windows media player 11. I tried to download the codex but its not working. WinDVD plays 5.1 / dobly digital etc with no problems, why cant i get this to work with the windows media player? Are there any other better media players out there that work better? All my sound drivers are up to date |

| Re: Just re-installed windows and lost 5.1 playback in windows media player 11 I'd recommend vlc. It's free and will play just about anything. I've never heard any complaints. Also, no annoying MS...
