DVDFab recently bought but no tutorial !
All I want to do is copy my pictures or my music from my docs on to a DVD-RW.
Can someone tell me how to do this please ? Do I use write data and which source and target. I have tried all combinations for many hours !!
It keeps telling me to insert disk when I have already.
I have managed to copy a DVD to a blank DVD-RW with full disc so it does work. HELP !!

Hi julie-anne and welcome to the forum. I'm not clear on exactly what task you are having trouble with if you've gotten it to copy a movie. Post a little more information on one specific thing you want to do that you can't get to work and we'll start there.

For creating a data disc or music/Audio CD then DVDFab is not the product you need.

Data disks can be created with the free CDBurnerXP Pro and Audio CDs by Burrrn (www.burrrn.net) , also free.

Re: julie-anne

As the other posters have pointed out, DVDFab is designed for making backup copies of movie DVDs or encoding them for use on iPods, cellphones or other personal video players. For making CDs, copying photos or backing up files the software they suggested (or the Nero suite, which comes free with many computers and drives) are better suited to the task. Please post back if the problem you're having involves any DVDFab related trouble.

I can get so many more photos or music on to a DVD thats why I wanted to use a DVD instead of a CD. Am I trying to do the impossible with Fab ?

Are these photos of any value? If so, then I would really recommend using at least two sets of quality CD-R media.

Fab is good for other things, not for burning data discs. Just use a regular CD/DVD burning application like Nero or one of the other programs that are mentioned in this thread.

Re: julie-anne

Hi julie-anne !!!
I have used Nero 7 Ultra for awhile now and have found it the best for making CD's or DVD's of photo collections or backup files, etc. It is not inexpensive, $55 at Amazon.com after a $20 Rebate.
DVDFab is great at what it does, but not for the type of discs you want to make.
Good luck and check out the program TimC suggests, they're free, the best kind.
Also as FidelC mentioned, go to www.imgburn.com and go to the "download" tab and then pick a "mirror" to download from and there you are. The "Screenshots" tab will give you an idea of what the program looks like after install.
Hope this helps
