I bought a copy of the below just now, but when I received the licence code for it, when it says thanks the program will now restart it just comes back as saying its a trial version. I have tried to see if its an old licence key sent by accident, but it doesnt look like it - and of course now I realise I pehaps should have gone to www.dvdfab.com to buy the software and not through www.dvdcopy95.com - is it legitimate? - help!!!!?!!! Update: I just clicked on the Secure Order now link on the DVDFab software now Ive installed it and it says dont order through dvdcopy95.com. Whats my best course of action - call my credit card company and get a refund as they havent provided the goods - or is there a different way? thanks

DVD95copy is a legitimate program; however it is updated slowly.

I have used both and IMOP you will be better served with DVDFAB.

I believe the link you were trying to provide should be:

DVD95copy is a legitimate program granted But if you read post #1 they sold DVDFab Platinum, not DVD95copy and Fengtao in post #3 knows nothing about them selling his product

Yes its a legit program but in my opinion not a very good one, like was said above , it is not updated very frequently and is not adequate for new releases, it also overcompresses movies to 4300mbs which makes for a poor picture when watching on a large screen. Just my humble opinion.

Just to let you all know, I have been liasing with Digi from the site over the past few days, and can confirm that

1) He feels hard done by with dvdfab (no more info)
2) He has refunded my money
3) The money has been refunded on my credit card

So I can now buy from www.dvdfab.net - any discount codes for even cheaper that anyone knows of (or ways to avoid the sales tax of 19%?!)

Do not download from dvdfab.net, but purchase from dvdfab.net...this is the non-css version and will not decrypt. Long story, but suffice to say this version is available due to "legal" reasons.
(Read the description and you'll note non-css)

re sales tax - this is calculated based on the country you say you live in.
the country field is otherwise irrelevant as goods are delivered by email / download.

so if for example you accidentally said that you live in antartica ( or whatever is first on the drop down list - easliy done if the mouse accidentally slips ! ) , then you should get favourable tax treatment & fentago & co should still get fully paid.

not that I'm advocating anything illegal you uinderstand but accidents do happen

This statement is confusing to me. The only link to purchase is from dvdfab.net which redirects to secure.avangate.com There is a difference on the purchase or license that is issued? I understand the different download versions just not the purchase. Don't see a difference.

dvdfab.com provides download to CSS version, which can decrypt DVD movies.

dvdfab.net provides download to Non-CSS version, which cannot decrypt.

dvdfab.net also is the order store for dvdfab.com, you should purchase at dvdfab.net to get legal key.

Thanks. I'm tracking. The statement I first read is corrected now.

What you call quite frequently might be different than my view, I call quite frequently, a program that updates for new movie releases within a week of the time they are released for sale. This is certainly not the case the DVD95Copy. Like I said, there are many other free programs I would rather have than this one, but for the price they charge , which I consider minimal, you can get a much better product.

I just didn't want you to download the non-css version, which happens every so often. I meant to type download instead of purchase...was at work and in a hurry.

Ok I've tried DVDFab Platinum for a month and loved it. It did everything I wanted and more. But then I stumbled across this post. So sorry guys to bring this topic back after a week. But I want to make sure I understand what your saying here as I'm going to buy it after I understand where Im suppose to purchase it from and then download it.

So let me get this straight:

Then I download it from dvdfab.com to get the CSS version.

As a new owner of DVDFab Platinum 4 I agree 100%. It's this combination of product and support plus the knowledge of the users discussing their experiences that put this program in a class by itself.
