Ok, it's not that bad

, But I do need some help. I have DVDFAB Platinum and I tried to copy to Generic and PDA Format, but they came out as audio files. Anyone have suggestions?

What device are you trying to play these files on? You just get a black screen with normal audio?

I opened it with Windows Media player on the computer to see if the files would work. It just plays the Windows Media swirly visuals 'thing' with audio going in the background, Just like if you were playing an audio cd.

Try another player, perhaps the codec is not supported...wmp is not the best choice.
Give VLC a shot, link in my sig.
What exactly are you trying to re-encode?

Or download and install ffdshow codec and make it responsible for playing this file type. Works well with VLC that maineman recommended.
