| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab It would be really nice to have built-in software that can convert . AVI to DVD files and then burn them. Sort of like TMPGEnc Xpress or TMPGEnc DVD Author. It would be the best All-In-One DVD software ever. |

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab Group chapter dvd to mobile. Sometimes when a tv series comes to dvd, they group all the episodes (the ones that they plan on puting on that particular disk anyway) into one title. Make dvdfab so that you can rip certain chunks of the title into diferent files. This way, the user can go somthing else for an hour, enstead of coming back every so often to encode another episode. |

Try this load ISO->Mobile->Define chapters 1-3->next Reload ISO->Mobile-Define chapters 4-6->next You should now see 2 jobs ready to process.

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab As an experienced encoder, I would dearly love to see some more documentation in the example profile xml document. There are quite a few parameters that are used in the existing profiles that are not fully explained in the example document, what values can be used and the effect of each value. I would be only too happy to assist if Fengtao or Ting send me ALL the parameters used and I will try to explain the parameters in simple english so that users can understand. Regards Gregi

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab I wasn't but you need to post more details of the error such as your burn log etc. There can be a few things that cause errors such as this:- Dirty source DVD Bad media Resetting the DMA on your burner... Have a look at these and the post in the maine forum area for assistance under a new topic otherwise cries for help get lost.

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab Another suggestion is to have the ability to save multiple "Encoding Jobs" that you have set up. This would then allow you to set them up and then easily load the job configuration file and run it when convenient....

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab How about being able to separate dvd's into separate chapters, not discs, like DVDshrink does. In some of the newer t.v. show releases, the shows are one large file, even though there are several episodes per dvd. Can Fengtao make it so that I can use DVDFAb to separate the chapters into separate files. If this is already possible, can someone tell me how to do it...thanks. |

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab does anyone have issues with dvdfab plat write mode reaching the set speed? i set mine to 8X and it doesnt get there until about the last 25% of the burn. however when i use other software on same drives the set speed is obtained almost automatically. any others with this issue and how can it be fixed? |

If you do have a requirement for offline access then download and save any tutorials you require while you have an Internet connection available. Either that or print them off. HTH Wombler

I would like to see this too. I sometimes copy the feature plus 1 or 2 extras using Customize with menus, but usually like playback to start with the main movie.

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab Good advice from Wombler, but remember that the Tutorial files are pretty large--lots of screen captures--and are updated frequently to match new features and fixes. Quote:

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab At the moment I first make a ISO with the desired label and then I burn this ISO, it's a two step workaround but this feature is also available in other VSO based dvdburning software, I (and I see many other users too) would appreciate it if dvdfab would also get this feature. |

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab how about a customized split? sometimes i want to split just the movie, not the entire disk. so far ive tried everything and that isnt possible. maybe im not doing it right but for the life of me i cant get a 3 hour movie split onto 2 dvd5 disks with just the movie. no menus no nothing. JUST the movie. |

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab How about an option in settings to always enable by default: Jump to first menu when disc inserted Remove annoying PGC's (like FBI warnings) I forget to check these two options about 50% of the time. |

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab This is a feature which actually existed, and it seems to have disappeared during the last few releases. When a Output directory is specified in the General Settings option, could it be displayed in the Target field when DVDFab starts up? It used to do that until a release last year, can't remember which version. See http://club.cdfreaks.com/f116/defaul...orking-236025/ |

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab A feature or option that I think is needed is this. When the copy process is completed with DVDFab platinum the disc ejects and then a pop-up says add blank media and click okay. That is kind of annoying because even though you put blank media in the player, the burn process will not start unless you click the okay button. There should be an option in the settings area where we can turn off the pop-up. Let the disk eject like it normally does and then when inserting the blank media, the burn process should start automatically. It should not have to wait for us to click OK. I think that would make it more convenient to burn. DVD shrink has this feature. I think it would be better without having to need to click OK after you insert the blank media. Anyone agree?
