| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab It could be really good if there were a possibility to rip only the audio from a dvd with dvdfab (not by using other softwares) and to add the support for sacd. Thank you for providing such a great software ![]() |

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab I second that for excitement to see full movie backup of HD DVD and blueray, since a lot of movies already floating around ripped from those sources, so obviously the technic is available. However, as i don't condone downloading movies, and know it's against the rules anyway, i am however wanting to be able to backup my current collection for playback. Not in any hurry, but i'm sure this will be needed in a future release as it becomes more the normal. I don't even watch anything on cable anymore other the my HD channels, same almost for my movie collection now. As much as i didn t care so much until i bought my HD set myself, now i would never go back. |

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab I'm a relative new used (PAID) of Platinum and find it fantastic. Bought it originally just to make copies of originals that the kids scratch or otherwise destroy and found that it can actually "fix" most of the discs that would no longer play due to damage. Only a small request -- maybe I've missed something in all the previous posts -- is it possible to enlarge the preview screen? I find that most of the old DVDs have lots of movie trailers for moves that have long since been out. I would like to omit them in my copies, but sometimes can't tell what's what in the tiny window with no sound. |

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab Here are a few things in other products that, if similar functionality were to be included, would make DVDFabPlatinum my preferred solution. VOBBlanker 1. Ability to turn all menus into stills, with or without sound, using the last I-frame as the still. This can save tons of space when recoding from DVD-9 to DVD-5. 2. Ability to selectively blank/remove VTSs entirely, not just replace them with a "has been removed" screen. DVDShrink 1. Ability to set default sound track and subtitle on target. Additionally, be able to select whether subtitles are on/off by default. Do this without messing up forced subtitles. 2. Remove entries from deleted sound tracks and subtitles from target DVD. Leave only the selected sound tracks and subtitles. Make for much cleaner finish. |

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab WMV-VC1 encoding with 5.1 support. I realize this has been asked before, but the first cofirmations that this would be in the product already date from over a year ago. So I figured it was fair game to put it back on the radar . |

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab It can, all though if it is not copy protected you just just copy the files off with windows copy. Having said that I have an ilo standalone dvd recorder (dvdr04hd). It has some sort of non standard format. WHen you rip with DVDFab, it looks like you have 2 copies of all titles. They seem to play in the preview window, but I have never watched the whole title. I have been trying to convert to PSP with DVDfab, but get audio sync issues (first frame of video frezzes, audio plays and at some point the video begins to play and off coruse the audio is out of sync). This is not really an issue that needs to be adddressed because this DVR is not made anymore. By the way even DVD shrink has issues. I have to use FixVts to even be able to load it into Shrink and even then the titels are screwed up. I am looking at videoredo. Its $50, but I worked with a couple of ilo DVD's last night. You have to do a little work, but the results seem to be worth the effort. My goal is to covert these ilo titles to re-authored DVDs and then run them through DVDFab to see if I can covert them to PSP. Anyone else trying such? |

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab Back to the topic at hand Is there a way that dvdfab can have a feature to change the audio before burning the dvd? ** ie mp3, wav etc Oh and one more think, what about a crop feature where you can change the screen res to your own settings. This would be good i think. What do people think about this?

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab With recent firmware updates, the PSP can now play full screen video from a memory stick, not just the UMD. Can we see an encoding option for this soon, please ? More details here, for example: http://uk.psp.ign.com/articles/776/776501p1.html |

| Re: Feature Requests for DVDFab [quote=wireman121]How about making it automatically sense when you put a blank DVD in , the same way it senses a new original DVD in the drive, instead of looping the pop-up window telling me to put a blank DVD in?[/QUOTE good one. i know its more of an annoyance issue with me but still gets pretty old sometimes.
