Hi Fengtao..nice work on this app. It keeps getting better and better. What are your thoughts on adding a rip in IFO mode to a single file. I'm not sure how much work this actually is, but maybe you could let me/us know if you think this feature is worth it.

one great wish would be when selecting custom mode and having movie only and preserve menu's is to shrink the menu down like menu shrink does....this would be great it could save up to to 150 mb of menu....thanks is this posible

Thanks signals...just wondering because no one mentioned anything about my request. I know that they can't respond to everything, but I was just wondering if it was even possible for them to convert to DPG files since they seem to support the other handheld devices..i.e....Ipod and PSP...thanks....

There has been talk of allowing external codecs at some point in the future. Maybe this would work for you.

In the name the file/title field for individual chapter setup/config window once you put in the new name, so that the avi file output will have the name of that individual chapter or episode, if you hit the Enter key it doesn't right the new name to the config. You have to go down and hit the "OK" button. Which is not a big deal but is there a way the Enter key will act as the OK button?

When doing batch conversion of DVD's with TV episodes you end up renaming a lot of files. Its kinda a pain to have to over and over again hit the "OK" button.

NOT a big deal. Just wondering.

I have a request, can you put for like Generic in XviD, the option for Subpicture, instead of Idx/Sub, you can add more files likes Srt, and other type of Subfiles to extract cause my DVD Player doesn't support Idx/Sub can you add more subfiles in the Subpicture extraction to like Srt and other type of files please? thank you

Could the insert blank media dialogue be replaced by auto sensing mechanism as in Nero. At the moment if you click OK after inserting media it returns media not present as auto run hasn't had time to identify it. Failing that a delay in respone to present dialogue would work.

currently using DVDFab Platinum 3.1.1.2, preview audio would be a nice feature. ran into trouble when using 3.0.8.6, backed up ice age and ice age 2. accidently got the audio for directors commentary.

Personally, I think that that's rather a bad idea, because it may attract the wrong kind of attention to these products. After all, how many copies of the same backup do we want to make? For most of us, just one "working" copy at a time suffices.

Good point, but I don't think all countries play by the same rules if you catch my drift.

Because in belgium we need the subtitles, it is very annoying not to have the possibility to crop when we back up our movies to a pocket pc or pda. On our pocket device we can zoom in but that brings the quality down. I use a htc4350 with 320x240.
for the rest fab is the best!

I would like to be able to set a custom frame resolution for the cellphone part, so that it fits my phone better and quality etc...

It would be nice to hear the soundtrack audio in the Preview window when a title is being played back (to help me decide whether I've selected the correct title)...

Simple request: When running the commandline option /CLOSE, could you supress the "Process completed Successfully!" dialog? This dialog halts a script.

Little more complicated: Instead of a "Process completed Successfully" dialog when using /CLOSE, could you add some return codes? A return code or errorlevel to indicate fail or pass would suffice.

Finally: Could you add an option to not do a "fulldisc" folder in the path of the rip when working from commandline?

Just one thing I would like to see is the ability to rip the DVD files directly into the target folder instead of the current folder structure ...\Main Movie\(movie name)\VIDEO_TS. This would be very usefull for people who rip DVD's to hard disk for HTPC's.

what would be good is when you merge together a plit movie to be able to unselect the subtitles you do not want and to have the menu stay on the first split of the movie...thanks

Include option to IVTC when convert iPod and other devices. Today only deinterlace is available.
