I've been having periodic burn fails with fab express v2979 (using verbatim dvd-r disks). This is the first time it's given me a code, usually fabexpress is fairly pleased with itself happily shouting that 'the burn was successful' - and you find out that it didn't work when trying to watch the disc. I've been using a relatively old disc so that encryption shouldn't be an issue (buffy season 4 disc 4) - figured that way I can keep at least part of the process consistent. Also, to cut down on coasters, I've been testing using dvd-rw's (how many times can you re-burn them. I mean could the problem actually have been fixed but I have no idea b/c the rw's burned and reburned to many times?).

Anyway, I decided that maybe the issue was vso so I installed nero burning rom to see if it changed anything. To be fair, it did change something just not in the way I'd hoped - it gave me a 'failed when writing 4015'. Any ideas on the code? I'm really really tired right now so please forgive if I'm making zero sense. Headed to bed now - maybe the problem will look different in the am?

daemian I know you figured your problem out, but I want to take this opportunity to post the link to error codes again, so others may be able to find their problems.
