FAB GOLD AND VSO ADVICE & media capacity

In the past I have used Nero for the burn engine but now I just went with VSO which as I understand it is the FAB GOLD default burn engine. It seems to work great and it fully captures all of the DVDs menus etc. which NERO doesn't. As a forum member, what is you experience with VSO? I also see that the default setting for media is 4300MB but since I am using 4472 media, I set it to that. Did I do the right thing?

Both VSO and NERO work fine for me although I have experienced some problems with both in previous DVDFab versions. From my experience it's not a good idea to burn disc to full capacity. I usually set max at 4200 but the last few backups I did at 4300 and it seems to be ok. If u are getting good backups at max setting by all means continue using it.

I have found the VSO burning engine to be stable and smooth working.
Their customer service is EXCELLENT. Email sent one day answered the next I burn all DVD5s at 4464 and have never had a problem (using Verbatim and HP (CMC) 16x +Rs burned at 4-8X).
