Hello everyone. Recently I have been trying to backup my Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip The Complete Series discs but have been having some play problems. I was able to burn the first disc no problem but every other disc has been read as incompatible by my dvd player. DVDFab was able to complete the process of copying and burning the disc but they are unplayable on my Panasonic DVD Player and on my PC. I'm including the log if it helps. Not sure why only select discs of the series are doing this
This is my first post so if there is additional info needed just tell me. Thanks for any help you can give.

You are using dvd+r discs. In common settings write mode did you check set booktype to dvd-rom. This could be the problem why they not play

See the highlighted areas in your burn log. The +R media you're using is not suitable for the Sony drive. It is reporting that it only supports -R media. Try some DVD-Rs.The problems you are having are due to write errors produced by the drive. See if the one that played correctly was a + or - R.

I'm thinking that is an older lappy drive?

The drive is an older Sony laptop drive. I'm using Verbatim DVD+R and they work for 90% of my burns and I have done hundreds. The ones that did work before were the exact same discs as the ones I am trying to use now. I am going to try to set the booktype to DVD-ROM but I don't know why this should matter as I use these discs all the time for all my burns and I have never had to check the box before to get working discs.

well are you using a different dvd player from before? Try it and let us know what happens.

I just got done burning another copy. Setting the booktype to DVD-ROM did the trick. Thanks for the help.
