Yes. Check your SPAM filter. I have seen the emails from Fab being trapped by spam filters innumerable times and users saying that they are not getting the email.

If you have another email address. eg xxx@hotmail.com, change your email address on DVDfAb to that and re-request the key.

The Curtis Mayfield" Movin' on up" region 1 DVD will not open with with 5.0.3.0. This DVD has been a problem with previous updates since it release in early May. It continues to scan until you cancel the operation without opening. I have been checking this site for posts of this problem but none has been reported. Please help.

No, that movie came out awhile back and DVDFAB went through it with no problems, perhaps you should start a thread with the problems you are having and I am sure that someone can help you out

Same here. I created a bkup back on 4/15. This is not a decrypting failure.
I'd follow my good friend Jimbo's advice and start a thread with some details as to what going on.

Every now and then i run into problems with some of my old backups and my new standalone player. I must then put the backup back into the computer and remove the first couple of seconds. I decided to open one of them with the latest DVDFab. This was part of the log:
Potential bad sector (vts:1 title begin:0 end:132) is removed!
1 potential bad sector protections are removed!
Structure protection (ARccOS, RipGuard, etc.) is removed!

Please someone help me, Im new to the forum. I had the version 4 of dvdfab platinum and just upgraded to the latest version 5. I didn't try it first and just purchased it. Every dvd that i try to back up will not work, the program says that i cannot back up the dvd because it is css protected. I put the pathfinder to always on but this did not work. Some one please help I am sooooo frustrated!

Hi I need Help. I have not used my DVD Fab Platinum in a while. Today I went to update the version and was instructed to send email information to update to version 5. All went well, I recieved the new key for platinum 5, however after software download and new key activation, the gold version downloaded. I upgraded from Gold to Platinum in Feb. 2007 for a fee of 19.95 if I remember the amount correctly. I have used platinum since that time. How do I get the platinum version? All the downloads read Platinum/Gold/HD Decrypter. Please help Fengtao

Just download it again and choose Platnium. Then enter your key.

There is only ONE download, even though there are two links on DVDFab.com.

It then relies on the registration key to unlock the correct version.

How Can I get the correct Key. I had Platinum since paying for it as an upgrade from gold in Feb. 2007. I saved all my confirmation emails from element 5 in case I need to prove I paid for Platinum upgrade. I also kept the original email for initial payment of gold from May 2005 when it was Express. How do I proceed now? Can I email you directly or someone else with my element 5 confirmation of upgrade emails???

If you go to support and ask for a new key to be sent to you by email it will generate a new one for the update
