Dvdfab platinum, express and gold register problem - Club CDFreaks

Hi, i purchased dvdfab about a year ago and everything has been fine until recently. I tried to do a platinum 3 upgrade and now everytime I click on either platinum, gold or express, it asks for the register code or (purchase it again). I did click the link at the bottom to retrieve the file key, and once I got it, I copied and past it in the dvdfab box, but it just keeps telling me the same thing. I am unable to use any of them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated because I've been working at this for over a week and I'm getting very frustrated.........................

Hi mysteriousgyrl and welcome to cdfreaks.

Sorry for your trouble.
Did Fab 3.xxx install ok? This is a totally separate and distinct program from Fab 2.xxx.
The term "upgrade" is unfortunate and a little misleading to customers since the programs are separate from one another. There is no express in Fab 3 and the previous gold is not a part of Fab 3 either. The regkey that works in Fab 3 will not work with Fab 2, just as the old keys won't work with the new apps (ie., Fab 3).

So we get things straight...what program did you buy last year...platinum, gold, express? If it was platinum 2.xxx, there is no cost to you to "upgrade" to platinum 3. If it was gold or express, there is an upgrade cost.

Hope this makes sense.
If you could provide some additional details, it'll help to nail down a solution.

It was platinum 2. I had express and gold as a free trial, but once I purchase platinum 2, I was able to use them all.

The upgrade seemed to go through fine. Actually, that same day, I also did the gold upgrade and it too seemed to upgrade fine but it is saying the same thing now.

Is there a way to just back to fab2 instead?

DVDFab Gold 3### has all the features of DVD Platinum 2###
DVDFab Platinum 3### has those features with more advanced modes.

DVDFab 2### products are not being updated. You can use the email address to retrieve a new key for 3### using the auto sender function and you can change your email address with the auto processor too. Also make sure your spam filter and/or ISP are not blocking replies. Also these programs have been moved to dvdfab.com.
