Re: DVDFab Platinum

Doesn't appear that you have aske for help here on the forum as this is your first post. As I understand Fab products are shareware with a full functional evaluation for 30 days. If you have trouble running it this is the place to ask all us other users.

As bigmacnc just said, this is not the place to ask for refunds, if you need help using the program maybe we can help you, but as for refunds, you will have to deal with the company you bought it from.

Alan, I keep searching google for drive reviews for drives listed in one of the few that gets that error, and find places like AfterDawn that drives are so out dated the suggest to get a new drive if FW is no longer updated. My post 43 & 44 have links all need to look at. I also find it amazing that people go to a 64mhz computer and but a DOS drive in it. With all the updates we have tested, I think it comes down to old system parts.

What do we have 2 or 3 that are now having this error. Maybe a Poll thread to determine how many and for those getting this error post their system specs. Also where the fab product was purchased.

Dear Mack, this is an OEM BTC burner rebadged as Sony. It is a piece of junk in my opinion. I would not be surprised if this burner is just not able to handle any of these new discs much less the software.

Re: DVDFab Platinum

That is what I got from every site and that it is very sensitive even to new movie and a fingerprint would lock it up. Until I have a need for 10,000 at a time I will buy the retail boxed versions as they are just a few bucks more and I am approaching 60.
