I've noticed with version 4.0.2.5 or later even with PathPlayer set to always enable the navigation options are disabled and the info details show PathPlayer is disabled.

Rolling back to version 4.0.1.2 the Navigation options are available and PathPlayer is listed as enabled on the info details.

I could be wrong but i thought you use PP when the copy protection fails normally?

PathPlayer is required to use the change playback order.
Jump to first menu when disc is inserted.
Jump to main title when disc is inserted.

PathPlayer is also required for the remove annoying PGCs (like FBI warnings).

If DVDFab doesn't use PathPlayer, and you know the disc contains new copy protection, you can enable this option to force DVDFab to use PathPlayer.

I just tried forcing PathPlayer with version 4.0.3.2 on a disc that normally does not enable it, and it works just fine.

I don't use Platinum as much as some of you do.

DVDFab does work without PathPlayer enabled but the options to change playback order or remove the annoying PGCs are disabled.

Here's PP enabled on 4.0.3.2. Works for me.......

try it with a hard drive folder as source. Im still with 4.0.3.0 but it does not seem possible to enable pathplayer & remove warnings for a hard drive source - this was a bug when pathplayer was first released but then it was fixed - & now it's back again ?

For f*** sake, will the developers now see sense in concentrating on updating copy protections and fixing bugs only?

Further testing has shown this issue only appears will certain titles. Miracle At Sage Creek and Rush Hour 3 to name a few. PathPlayer did enable when I inserted Harry Potter 5.

Can anyone send me a copy of 4.0.3.2 ???

Once you check enable path player you have to close DVDFAB and then reopen and you will see path player is enabled, also when checked enable when needed and it is required on a movie a box will come up asking you to enable it then the program will close and reopen, I think this is in the instructions also path player will only give you those options in full disk, remove fbi warning and such

Howdy, same exact prob here: can't force the enabling of PathPlayer and consequently can't use the "Jump To..." feature.
Tried everything, from restarting the prog (tho it didn't ask for it) to rebooting, from using different source types (disc, virtual drive, image on HDD, folder on HDD) to different OS's (200, XP Pro, Vista Biz), nothing's doing.
Used v4.0.5.0, 4.0.5.1 beta and 4.0.5.5., is downgrading to 4.0.3.2 the only option please?

Seems to be working only on already processed (read "unprotected") content (DVD-Video copied to either image or folder on HDD with DVDFab), can anybody confirm?

No problem here with 4.0.5.5 reading unprocessed discs. PathPlayer will sometimes disable itself when opening a folder of processed files I've made with Customize/No Menus; always just assumed this was because there was nothing to process.

I didn't think much of it until I read this thread but I made a backup last night of Treasure Planet (older movie) and Pathplayer wouldn't enable for me on that particular title. I have my options set to always use Pathplayer but I couldn't get the option to "Jump to first menu" and "Remove annoying things". Never figured out why. It worked fine on Rush Hour 3 and Resident Evil: Extinction.

Did you try again on the "processed" disc?

I dont understand pathplayer. If you want to remove the FBI warnings or Jump to first title. Simply use customize.

I haven't tested the "processed" disc yet to verify that it even backed up.

I only use Customize mode. There is more to the function of Pathplayer than just jumping to the first title or removing FBI warnings. Also, simply using Customize mode doesn't always guarantee a jump to the first title when you preserve menus and other things.
