Hello,
I'm experiencing the following issue in version 4.0.3.2. The issue has been around for a few versions, so can't tell exactly when it started.
But, I'm trying to record DVD to Mobile, PS3. (custom PS3 profile... 2 Pass, 3072kbps). Anyway, it will encode 1 pass just fine, and then seem to encode the 2nd pass fine, until it gets to the very end of 2nd pass.... then it hangs. (task time left reports as 00:00:00) I can look at the filesystem where the file is being created, and the file appears to look like an almost complete file. However, when I try to open it, I'm getting a corrupt file error (almost like it just didnt close the file correctly). Anyway, I have two computers I use to do ripping so I can get through my DVD's quicker. I'm experiencing this problem with DVDFab on Windows Vista Ultimate. The other computer, Windows XP Pro, does not experience this problem. On Vista, this problem occurs maybe on every 1, 2, or 3 consecutive rips, and a reboot seems to temporarily fix the proglem. On XP, I run up to 50 tasks at a time (like full seasons of South Park or what not) and I don't see this. Also, I had just gotten through my movies and was working on tv shows... it may be ironic, but an interesting tidbit is that this problem seemed to start when I started ripping my cartoon tv shows (South Park, Family Guy, etc).

Apologize... after I posted this... I saw that someone else already posted a similar issue.... but with PSP and also in Vista.

Tested in 4.0.4.0 and 4.0.5.0.... still severe issues with 2-pass to PS3 in Vista.

Having same issues in Vista with 4.0.5.5. Is anyone else having these problems in Vista? When ripping show season DVD's like Family Guy, The Simpsons, etc?
