Re: DVDFab HD Decrypter Was this an update or a new install? Try re-downloading, then disconnect from the internet and disable antivirus and firewall and try the install again. Sorry you are having trouble, this is unusual for the Decrypter version.

Re: DVDFab HD Decrypter But was this the first time you have installed DVDFab or were you updating an existing installation? /EDIT/ The latest version is 3.2.0.5 beta but I wouldn't try it. The Platinum version will not read from HDD folders. If you are starting HD Decrypter with a DVD already in your optical drive, try starting it with the DVD drive empty to see if it will open and perhaps give an error message when you pop in the DVD.

Re: DVDFab HD Decrypter Markow I am at a loss. Still not clear in my mind whether you have ever had a working version installed and running correctly. If not, there may be a conflict with some background process or other application that you have installed. If I get a chance later today I will download and try it myself. I have an older version that I keep on my PC for testing that needs updating anyway. What time is it where you are?

Re: DVDFab HD Decrypter Hi again Signals. Did clean uninstall and tried 3.2.0.0. No good. Read your post and downloaded and installed 3.2.0.6. Beta. After just normal uninstall. Still no good. Could no pc couffin have any think to do with it?

Re: DVDFab HD Decrypter I don't think so but it would be easy to test: just go to the VSO website and download the free VSO Inspector utility. It is a good tool to have anyway and I think it will install the pcouffin.sys driver if it is not already present.

| Re: DVDFab HD Decrypter I believe my good friend signals is correct about vso inspector, but I'm not sure either. Have you ever had a working version of Fab? Curious, why do you ask about the patin-couffin driver? Open device manager and make sure the driver is installed and working. (See below, screenshot #1) Right click on the Fab icon > Properties > Find Target > open PcSetup.exe You should see your burners listed and there are a variety of functions. (Screenshots #2,3,)

Re: DVDFab HD Decrypter Hi Guys. Have installed VSO and re-downloaded 3.2.0.0 Platinum trial as when I can get the program to work will be buying. I have used the free program for about 9mths previously no problems. It's been brillant. Then one fine day ha.. ha.. just would not open. Strange I know. All scans were clear. Stranger still DVDFab is the only program that will not open. Having said that it is a great program.. Thanks Fengtao for it.

Re: DVDFab HD Decrypter I also updated to the new DVDFab HD, and it will no longer open or even recognize there is a Blu-ray DVD in the computer. My older version was 3.1.8.0 and it worked just fine then new 3.2.0.0. I have uninstalled 3.2.0.0, rebooted and installed the older 3.1.8.0 and now even the older one does not work. (It used to)

Re: DVDFab HD Decrypter Hi guys. Downloaded 3.2.0.6Beta from release notes. Still same problem. Having a brain meltdown. I am using nero 7 demo at the moment. Would that be a reason for the problems? On previous versions used nero 6. No problems. But don't know if I can get nero 6 anymore.

| Re: DVDFab HD Decrypter markow, like others said, it sounds like driver(s) conflicts in windows, but I'm not sure what/where. I just upgraded DVDFAB HD from 3.1.5.0 to 3.2.0.6 beta and still works like before.

Re: DVDFab HD Decrypter Installed 3.2.0.6Beta Results: Still not working, It no longer shows the Blu-ray Drive as the "Source:" and to the right it says "Please insert DVD disc or choose DVD folder/image file". If I try to change it and point to the Blu-Ray disc it will not select the drive it acts like its looking for a folder. When I launch DVDFab HD the Blu-ray drive spins for less than a second then it tries to load source "Open DVD Source H:\..." but it never fully loads.(after the H:\ it has a little square that I can't create with my keyboard" The older 3.1.8.0 worked just fine, but even if I unistall this and install the old one it will no longer work. My Standard DVDFab Platinum is working.
