DVDfab crashes when I try to access files

I just purchased the platinum version of DVD fab after using the trial version and I liked it very much. However, since my purchase, I have not been able to back up my movies, as all I can do is copy them to my hard drive.. if I insert a blank DVD, and try to access my files in either the file or ISO menu, DVDFfab crashes, just shutting down with no error message. I've removed and re-installed the program several times, and tried some different settings in the control panel... no changes.

It's kind of frustrating, as I feel like I just dropped 50$ for bunk software...
I'm running XP, on a Dell inspirion e1505.

Any suggestions?

Re: DVDfab crashes when I try to access files

sorry about your problem. if you purchased dvdfab platinum from dvdfab.com then you have not wasted your money. this is great software with good support.

so your trial version worked perfect and now that you purchased a license the program is now crashing. there maybe something else on your system conflicting with dvdfab. before we go into troubleshooting, could you follow this guide by stormjumper for a clean uninstall/reinstall.

let us know any updates.
