Can DVDFab able to convert DVD to DivX? On the "DVD to Mobile - Generic" Config, there is no "DivX format" on the selection?? Only "Xvid" is available. I have DivX Pro v 6.5.1 installed on my PC. Can anybody help??

Hi skywalker and welcome to the DVDFab forum. I have Divx Pro also and although I don't use it much I thought it would play the Xvid files. I have also used it to play MP4s made with the iPod profile. Have you tried an Xvid yet? Remember that if you are going to do a lot of experimenting with the DVD to Mobile modes it is much faster to first do a rip to your hard disc of only one or two chapters of a movie and then use that for testing. Post back if you need more help.

I understand. My standalone player doesn't support anything but DVD. I was just talking with another user about this very subject in the "Features Request" thread and I will send him here. Maybe you two can get this going.

Hey iskywalker, in the meantime I'd use FairUse wizard..Though it has ripping feature ,I would still use DVDFab to rip> FairUse to DivX...... I'm also waiting for some "feature requests" from Fengtao........great prog. IMO!!!!!
