Try to download a new copy for http://www.dvdfab.com/download.htm and install that version. I have that one and it seems to work great for me.

Re: DVDFab 5.0.0.0 Beta Discussion Thread

I'm just wondering - the older versions of FAb could be closed without erasing the temp files - that's what the "finish" button did. Now, just closing it will also erase the temp files - does anyone else prefer the old way?

Well being as I never cared about the temp files & always got rid of them anyway, I would have to say no.

Re: DVDFab 5.0.0.0 Beta Discussion Thread

AFAIK, it's always been the same, ie.,
in Common Settings > General > simply untick Delete temporary files when done.
Then when you click Finish, your files will be saved or deleted depending on how you configured your settings...

I believe I understand that, but if I unclick that box, will I be able to simply close FAB (click on close, not finish)to preserve the temp files but click on "finish" to erase them if I don't want to preserve them?

I don't think you can have your bread buttered on both sides.

Either they are deleted when fab is exited ANY WAY or not, depending on what you set.

Nope. As I said, it didn't make any difference. It's still hit and miss.
