Did you read the history? Do it mention abut it? No, so it dont have it. You can answer your question if you read well. About bluray you can try another program.

Hello all and especially Janine R,

Thanks for all your input re: SPLIT. MY findings on version4120 show SPLIT to still be inoperative. I have tried PP enable and disable, enable and disable DVD-ROM bookmark, SAO and packet writing, +R,RW,-R,RW and Verbatim discs. When using CUSTOMIZE I find that including menus works beautifully, but when backing up second half of movie I get a variety of failures including dropped chapters and skipping to final chapter; however when backing up second half of movie WITH menus everything works great. Fengtao let me reiterate how much you are appreciated -fixes for these problems and a return to the consistent results found in Version 3xxx is something I look forward to.

P.S. I have also done clean uninstall.

As alsways, audio is out of sync in Ratatouille and Zathura, among others, when converting to 320x240 128kbps mp3 (Clix format). Will this ever be fixed? I have long ago emailed the requested files to no avail. For the most part everything functions really well, but this issue is quite frustrating, especially as there is never any response.

I don't know if this problem occurs in earlier version, but I found this out in this beta anyway.

I ripped my concert DVD "Katherine in the Park" to iPod and I have chosen the DTS soundtrack. The output file has sound distortion when the voice or music reaches high pitch / frequency. No such problem found when I ripped and chose the AC3 soundtrack.

Both soundtrack has no such problem when I play the DVD in my hifi system. The distortion only happens in the converted H.264+AAC ipod file.

Please check it out.

Hi. Please can anyone tell me if DVDFab 4.1.2.0 HD is compatible with the LG GGW-H20L Sata Drive?

I can watch blu ray and hd DVDs with Cyberlink Power DVD.

I just can’t get DVDFab HD Decrypter 4.1.2.0 to recognize my LG GGW-H20L drive.

I have also tried separately to use Slysoft Any DVD which recognizes the LG GGW-H20L but when I try and back it up to the hard drive with Clone DVD it again doesn’t recognize the drive (LG GGW-H20L).

The Blu ray DVDs show up in my computer and I can explore the hd dvds.

Ultimately I just want to back my original hd dvds up to blu ray disc so at least it doesn’t matter if the kids scratch them.

DVDFab HD Decrypter doesn't support blu ray disc anymore is my understanding, there is a post from the author of FAB explaining this a little better, use the search to find it if you want

New Issue: On the entire Fassbinder Berlin set, when I try to do a split with any of the Platinum 4.x series or 3. 2.1.0 I get "Error 102". The discs have 3 episodes each. I can do a customise & put 1 episode on each disc, but this error ALWAYS happens on any of the 6 discs trying to use split mode to put 3 episodes on 2 discs.

My point in raising the issue was simply that it's difficult to ignore all the

posts EVERY TIME a new release is issued, and thus difficult to find the things we're SUPPOSED TO know about that release, whether they be follow-on comments by the developers, or responses to problems, or whatever.

If the mods want every thread to be post-able, that is of course their prerogative...

3. Lock thread.

I have an issue...

After the dvd is dome ripping my computer shuts down.

-- even when the shut down option is unchecked.

Does anyone have the same issue?

It is very annoying. Otherwise, this version works fine.

Cropping is still broken for DVD to Mobile - PSP. On a 2.35:1 movie I'm only able to select 480x202 with the psp.h264.firmware2.8+ setting.

I have mentioned this in last several release threads here with no response so I plan on sending them an e-mail.

I have deleted an banned every poster who has done this, its all I can do, sometimes I have to sleep and it gets posted, other Mods will see it and ban the person. We are working on it. It will not be tolerated.

I hope you are referring to the posts that are cracks or unacceptable. All other posts, if they conform to forum rules will be allowed, I and Fengtao will delete any posts deemed unacceptable.

I like that idea. Then just let people post about issues/what works or separate phrase threads instead a million posts that say nothing but "thank you, you rock, rock on, many thanks", etc that take up 90% of each new version thread. Might save the forum some bandwidth too.

I have dvd fab platinum burner trial version and when i go to burn a dvd on memorex +r it burns almost all the way and then I get a error task 2 116 HWS_WRITINGFAILED I have no clue why it keeps doing this. can anyone help please?

Most probably crappy media but it may be other issues.

Please post as a separate topic with more details otherwise such queries get lost in a thread like this one.

This version STILL doesn't fix my problem. When I go to copy the original DVD I get MANY read errors. I thought it was my drive at first (I had a Pioneer 111D). So, I bought another Pioneer drive (115D), updated the firmware (ver 1.18). I still get read errors! I did the clean uninstall thing provided in this forumn and then reinstall the new version of FabDVD. Still the same problem. ALL other DVD copying software works. Does this program have any known software conflicts? SInce the last known working version (4.055) I had at one point used ConvertX2DVD and CloneDVD (ver4.0). Does anyone else have these same issues? I have contacted FABDVD MANY times (aprox 10) and they were not much help but to tell me to install the new version of the day.
I LOVE this software! I use it on two other computers flawlessly. ut, my main computer, is another story.

Most read errors are caused by fingerprints and or scratches on the disc..but sometimes it can also be a bad pressed disc from the factory .
you can use Nero CD Speed to run a test on it to check for bad sectors
