What's New:

4.1.1.5 Beta (Mar 18, 2008)
- New: Improved removal of RCE protection.
- New: Updated language files.
- Fix: An empty content problem when PathPlayer is enabled, in certain cases.
- Fix: A crash problem when selecting "jump to menu/title when disc inserted", in certain cases.
- Fix: A freeze problem when copying FluxDVD protected DVDs.

4.1.1.0 Beta (Mar 16, 2008)
- New: Rebuilt with latest development tool VS2008.
- New: Improved support for CORE X2 protection as found on some Czech DVDs.
- New: Updated language files.
- Fix: PathPlayer may remove playable content in certain cases.
- Fix: PathPlayer may cause crash in certain cases.
- Fix: A crash problem when converting to Xbox 360 in certain cases, for "DVD to Mobile".
- Fix: Ouput file cannot be played on PSP since "Unsupported Data" in certain cases, for "DVD to Mobile".

beta releases are the releases between the non beta releases.

They are "test" releases so the user can test it. It contains fixes for the last official release. Betas some times are buggy and instable.

Hello, I get an error. It tells me I need a newer version of windows. I currently use windows ME. I would like to know if this is a glitch in the download, or will this program no longer support windows ME. Thanks!

I would suggest that as FengTao is using newer tools that do not support old Windo$e versions to build the newer versions of Fab, you will see outdated versions of Windo$e being dropped off the supported list.

Don't you really think it's time you updated?

Hi Fengtao,

The messages that I get with MS Windows 98SE are attached. I get these both during the installation routine, and when trying to open DVDFab Platinum after the Windows restart.

The files seem to be copied to the DVDFAb Platinum 4 program directory okay.

This happens with both 4.1.1.0 Beta and 4.1.1.5 Beta.

Reverting to 4.1.0.2 works okay.

[Edit]
The error message labelled "Setup" I get only during the installation routine. When trying to open the program after the Windows restart, I get the error message labelled "C:\Program Files\DVDFab Platinum 4\DVDFabPlatinum.exe" instead.

Hello Fengtao,

These are the errors I receive: Error starting program, The C:\PROGRAM FILES\DVDFAB PLATINUM 4\DVDPLATINUM.EXE file expects a newer version of windows. Upgrade your windows version.

The next error is: C:\Program Files\DVDFab Platinum 4\DVDFabplatinum.exe A device attached to the system is not functioning

I run your previous version non beta just fine, I just cannot upgrade to the newest beta's

Issue with cropped files for PSP
Cropped files still are not available in all settings for DVD to Mobile - PSP. For a movie that is 2.35:1 I'm only getting the 480x202 choice in psp.h264.firmware2.8+. I'm not able to choose that resolution in any of the other PSP settings.
