Dear all,

DVDFab products 3.1.4.0 is out (06/27/2007):

DVDFab Platinum/Gold 3.1.4.0:

What's New:
* New: Reduced time to open DVD (like SAW III) up to 50 percent.
* New: Added VOB passthrough extraction with "idx/sub" subtitle support, perfect for Media Center PC! You can find the device "vob" in "Generic" mode.
* New: Added support for Nintendo DS. You can find the device "nds" in "Generic" mode, and you can create a new option for it in "Settings -> General -> Customize UI".
* New: Added profile for PVP iAudio X5 and Cellphone LG VX9400.
* New: Updated language files.
* Fix: Error 400(39...) when copying DVD in certain cases.
* Fix: Corrupted DVD data problem when copying "24 Season 5".
* Fix: Audio fast playback problem for "DVD to Mobile", as found on "Friends".
* Fix: A/V sync problem for "DVD to Mobile", as found on "Alien" and "Aliens".
* Fix: A/V sync problem for "DVD to Mobile", as found on "An Evening With Kevin Smith 2".
* Fix: A crash problem when choosing "sub/idx" subtitle for "DVD to Mobile".
* Fix: A crash problem when converting to PSP for "DVD to Mobile", as found on "24".
* Fix: Subpicture may appear even if it's unselected for "DVD to Mobile".

Really do appreciate all the hard work and effort that you and the rest of your team put into writing such a tight piece of code as DVDFab.

Great work, Fengtao and Ting!

Thanks for Nintendo DS support,
however the Nintendo DS Audio/Video Sync is a bit out of sync...(audio is ahead).

Do you have any ideas?

Hi! I just got a new computer and installed Nero 7.9.6.0, DVDFab 3.1.4.0, and DVD Shrink, and it seemed to work perfectly on the DVD "Pride". However, when it came to using DVD Shrink, it got all the way to the burning part and died with the error message,
"#2 DVDREALLOC -24 File DVDVideoCompilation.cpp, Line 1317
One or more files (mostly VOB file(s)) do not belong to the corresponding IFO file".

I don't know whether this is an issue with DVDFab 3.1.4.0, DVD SHrink, or just a personal problem.

Does anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance.

THanks for the reply. It looks like there's a bunch of VOBs at the end that are never referenced when playing the movie. I re-authored without them and it burned okay. It's too bad that I can't burn the full disc backup without having to mess with all the analysis and loss of menus. Thanks for the tip on where to look.

I know this should go in the feature bucket, but is there any way a future enhancement can eliminate unreferenced VOBs and clean up the ifo's?
