To be fair, while they may not have cured YOUR problem, they have done more than change the version number. They've cured quite a few of my problems with this latest release (3.1.1.2). A lot of audio video sync problems have been fixed and one of my DVD's that's been a pain forever (*coughshrek1cough*) I can now at least PVP it to an AVI (Still need to test DVD backup).

I'm not hacking at you. Believe me, I can understand the frustration. I've been feeling it a lot lately with the A/V sync issue (and I'm still having it on some DVDs (will post which ones when I've retested them Fangtao)).

I'm not sure how long you have had this product.But let me assure you if there is any way Fengtao and Ting can fix a problem even if it means purchasing a copy of the problem dvd to do this tey take every means under the sun to get the problem fixed.I hope later you will come to see this and much more satisisfied with your DVDFab.

By the way great job Fengtao and Ting nothing but the best here.

can any of you try to record the queen or Rocky .. to hard drive. at maz file size. It doesnt work and hasnt been working for the past few months since all these new updates. Is there a way to get my hands on a older version or DVDfab? need like 2 month old on...

I tired 3 PC's same problem on all 3 computers. It will not recorde movies to Hard Drive at max file size greater then 2GB

sorry, but how about a profile for XBOX360!!! all these profiles for Mobile PDA ect....for what? and i can't belive you already put a profile for PS3 but you will not support XBOX360 that is much more poppurlar!!

As you know all to well yourself it's very frustrating to wait (in some instances) for over two hours for the program to eventually finalise a session to only find out the finished file is totally corrupted.

For the sake of my sanity I just had to let off some steam the other day out of my frustration of the program not being able to do what I needed it to. My initial post in this thread was to vent my disappointment after repeated attempts.

I now feel my voice has been heard, and are now confident the problem will be rectified in due course.

I wish you well, and I sincerely hope your problem/s with the program have been rectified with this latest release.

I'm sorry you have to tell me or us what was the last version that worked for you because I don't know they all have worked for me.
So say which version you need and if I have it I can help

Prog crashes (elegantly with report window) when DVD to Mobile-PDA option selected. All other options ok. Previous version didn't do this.

Anyone else noticed this?

Works fine for me. Sorry you're having trouble. Check and make sure the profile for that mode was installed.

Bug reports about 3.1.12

1) During Platinum/Hd Decrypter installation after selected italian language appear "Create desktop icon" instead localized version ("Crea icona desktop")

2) At the end of HD Decrypter installation appear "Lunch Dvd Decrypter" instead "Lunch Hd Dvd Decrypter"

4) The license agreement are always in english with any other language selected. To accept a license agreemente the user should be understand the meaning of license agrement and if he doesn't know english shouldn't understand it. The license agreemnt shoudl be localized and appear in the same language of user interface selected during installation.

5) In the main status window the messages about main operation like "Analyzing Dvd Started or Copy process started" etc. are always in english also with not english language selected.

6) The messages like "The folder already exist" appear always in english

7) The button (Yes/No) relative to window information (Upgrade available / Folder already exist, etc) are always in english

Checked profiles. I have 9, 3 generic, 2 ipod & 4 psp:
psp.h264
psp.h264.firmware2.8+
psp.mpeg4
psp.mpeg4.firmware2.8+

Tried re-installing but same number profiles.

Guess some of the psp profiles are used in cellphone & PVP options as they work ok. Is there another for PDA as that's the one the causes prog to exit/crash?

When are you going to fix the Sony titles. Yes, your software does override the encryption. However, when using the Nero Recode and when it's at 100%, it doesnt finalize. In addition, the last thing that is seen is the DVDFAB Contect Removed,. Nero then tries to continue to finalize but to no avail, it has failed. Can you guys fix that problem on the current and future software of DVDFAB or could be possibly something of those pesky Sony titles ?

Since Version 3.0.8.6 when I copy DVD created on my Panasonic DVD recorder I get the following error just at the end of the copy process

19:33:57: Analyzing of DVD completed successfully

this happens with either full disk or main movie options.

schofield: Send the burn log so that the guys can look at it and then maybe they can help you and also the specs on your system as the more information we have the better it is to nail down the problem

Hi Richard. Sorry to be so late geetting back to you. I'm on a business trip this week and my schedule has been a little crazy. I am running version 3.1.1.2 and have 33 profiles. If you've only got 9, something is wrong. Suggest you uninstall and reinstall from a fresh download.

The copy fails on ALL disks created with the Panasonic DVD recorder with DVDFab versions after 3.0.8.6. It fails at the end of the copy process just before it would eject the disk and want a blank inserted.

Are the discs you are trying to read RWs?

I am having trouble copying to dl discs. I get and error 116 come up. In the log it says something about a problem with the format. I am using Intact DVD+R DL. My settings in DVD FAB PLAT are using VSO burning engine, DMA is on, my DVD burner supports DVD+R DL. Could my problem be settings related in DVD Fab. I have successfully used one of these Intact discs when using Nero Vision and the copying function directly from DVD to Blank. Appreciate any help or if in wrong place any directions. I have just joined formum and a bit lost. Thanks
