What's New:

- Happy Holidays!
- Change: Improved copy protection removal engine.
- Change: Updated VSO burning engine.
- Change: VSO driver is signed now for Vista.
- Change: Improved 18x speed writing.
- Fix: A crash problem when there is no source for "Main Movie".
- Fix: Failed to write when selecting DVD folder for "Write Data".
- Fix: Real-time burning speed doesn't displayed.

BTW Arachne, I don't think all people in Asia celebrate xmas, only christians and catholics do, which aren't many ppl are in China

Also I noticed that this version crashes again when opening a VIDEO_TS map on my harddisc again

Works perfectly for me. Reads files created by Fab and DVDShrink. What movies are the ones that crash? What software was used to write them?
Will they play from the HDD using WinDVD/PowerDVD/some other player?

I had the same thing happen as motorcycle. It crashed and the crash report box came up, which I sent. The funny thing is, right after the report was sent and DVDFab shut itself down, I reopened and burned the same folder that had just crashed.

I have never liked self-repairing failures in hardware or software.

. Will the files play from HDD? Structure look normal?

Seems important to know how long after clicking "next" the crash occurs, then I am sure Ting will know what Fab should be doing at the time and what things might prevent it successfully doing so.

Happy Holidays Alan and all, just dropping in to say i'm trying out 3.0.5.1 Beta (after no issues with previous versions). Just had a problem with Full Disc Mode on 'You, Me and Dupree' here - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_j...440419/2664724

Basically i always use Full Disc mode, this time the burner just sat there at 0.02% with no lights flashing or anything. I haven't uninstalled and put 3.0.5.0 back on so don't know if it's the Beta or not, but Main Movie mode seems to be working so far. Just though i'd write this as a quick heads up as so far the only problem i'd had previously with DVDFab was on 'The Break-Up' using (i think 3.0.3.5) - and i managed to do that movie with i think 3.0.3.8 Beta..

Hi creaky and Happy Holidays to you also. There have been random occurances of problems with that movie creaky, I don't know whether there are some bad source discs being stamped cause some people are having no problems and others are. I did that backup in " movie Only" but I will try it again in Full disc. Good to see you here my friend.

Main movie mode just finished, DVD Shrink is doing it's thing so all's well in the world..
