DVD Software - Nero

Hi Folks,

I'm a newbie from Queensland in Australia and have joined your group to learn more about computers.

I found your website while seeking an answer to one particular problem I have at the moment. I have an LG DVD Burner installed on my computer and had Nero on my desktop. For some reason Nero has disappeared following repairs to my computer.

Does anyone know if I can download the software from somewhere? I am not looking for an illegal version, the Nero was provided with the burner when purchased but I cannot find the disc.

Any ideas folks?

All help greatly appreciated.

Liz

Re: DVD Software - Nero

Nero OEM SUITE or NERO 7 ESSENTIALS offen inclused with a new burner free. I'm sure someone around will have a copy they can loan you or try Nero or LG support. PM me about sending a disc.

Hint: put copies of all the important disks you need in a special place, when you download programs put the programs into a desktop file and burn this file to a CD.

It may still be there; the repairs may have caused the Icons to disappear. Open add/remove programs and see if it is still listed. If it is it should be on the "All Programs" list and you can make a new Icon for you desktop just by dragging the program name from the list to the desktop.

Re: DVD Software - Nero

Or, you can click on start and then find. When it opens it'll ask you and you will click on files and folders or something close to that. Type in Nero and then hit search. If it's anywhere on your HDD, it'll come up in the big box and tell where it's located. Just go there and find it and then right click on it and hit send to. A drop down box will show you options. Just hit desktop and your good to go. Also welcome to CDFreaks LizzyQld. ~ Mike
