I have a PS3 on a full 1080P tv and use TVersity to stream video and audio from the home pc to the PS3 for playback.

I used DVD FAB 4 Platinum (still in trial period) to convert a dvd to what they call "dvd to mobile" using the PS3 option, so I could stream it thru the PS3 onto the TV, during that process I saw a configure menu, so I entered that menu to set the maximum output quality of this conversion process for playback on ps3 on that 1080P tv.

The resulting mp4 it created worked and looked/sounded decent on PS3 thru the tv but was smaller than full screen, in the configure menu I saw the highest option for frame resolution sadly was 848x480 ;(

Is that just a limitation of me being on the trial version? (I read its fully functional for 30 days trial tho so i doubt my options are limited vs full version).

Is there another way to go about this conversion of a dvd movie to an output file that PS3 will see and play?

When I play a standard VOB file I get no audio, if I rename it to mpg some do some don't play audio and it's a pain to have to go start each mpg one after another every 15-20 mins.

What I am asking here is thru dvd fab 4 plat, is there a way I can create a mixed video/audio output with MAXIMUM frame resolution that still contains the video audio mix (say avi or mp4 or mpg) but at a full sized version in one file?

I love the dvd to mobile feature of dvd fab 4 plat, but the output config area is too limiting, I realize most want to use this for MOBILE use but adding a ps3 option for output you would hope there were some higher output options for resolution (maybe a request for future versions)...

Or is there a simpler way for me to achieve what I am looking for here?

Thanks for any reply on this, I do love the product and will probably buy it before the trial expires, it probably has more capabilities than I have been able to find or figure out that is why I figured I would ask on this...

At this point I am just a bit frustrated with the limitation of output frame resolution using the dvd to mobile ps3 option but again it is probably just me not seeing the forest thru the trees so to speak...
