| DVD fab question about backup file size on disk I downloaded a trial version of DVD fab platinum and used it to back up a Chinese movie called "Not One Less". I used the option to just back up the main movie because I wanted to minimize the file size to avoid compression. After I backed up the movie, I noticed that it only used 3.8 GB on the disk. There were some movie previews on the original disk which now I wish I had just backed up the whole disk because I still don't think it would have exceeded the DVD-R 4.5GB limit (which I understand if you exceed the 4.5GB limit, the software will automatically compress the movie). My question is, is there some way to determine the file size of the backup before you actually burn the disk? This would let me make a decision if I want to back up just the main movie, or back up more than the main movie and thereby "use up" the whole 4.5GB on my back up disk. |
