DVD Fab Clone Mode Option question

When using the Clone Mode with DVDFab Platinum, I realize you are making an exact backup copy of the Source dvd.

With Clone Mode you have a check box option, "Copy DVD Video Data only".

Question: By leaving the check box option either checked or unchecked, what exactly are you either leaving in or leaving out from the Clone backup dvd?

Thank you
Andrew (still a newbie)

Hi Andrew. If you check the box you are telling Fab to omit copying anything except video content. Some discs contain interactive software and other non-video content. It lets you reduce the size of the output file without compression, which is not available in Clone mode.

Paul, Will this leave the sound intact?

You are right, when you read it it's confusing. The answer is yes, it leaves the movie video and audio content intact but no games or other software that may be on the disc. I guess it should read Program content or something like that to make it a little clearer.

This is good to hear. A lot of kids movies have games and online stuff that has made backing up hard at times for me.
