Using all upper case is reagrded as shouting on forums and is bad manners.

Also, in your other posts, the use of capital letters for the first letter of each word is the same and makes your posts hard to read.

It's in the folder you ripped your files to.

Re: DVD FAB 5.0 PLATNUM dvdid.xml FILE

Not sure why this dvdid.xml file is being created now but it is a hidden file and is also placed on all backups made by the new version of DVDFab, I now rip to hard drive first then delete it before burning to disc no more one step process for me.
have to use the program twice for one backup, just don't like hidden files that get placed on used on the disc or during the use of a program

Re: DVD FAB 5.0 PLATNUM dvdid.xml FILE

Hi- i feel the same way you do about the files, one reply to my post said that the dvdid.xml file is placed in the folder that you rip to, you say it is a hidden file, i don't use ver. 5 yet, so i cannot tell, but if it is hidden, then it will accumulate on one's drive indefinately? that i do not like. good idea about ripping to hard drive first, what a pain, is ver.5 worth it?
p.s. i am in eugene, or. yeah, i came back from hawaii, which was awful- glad to be home, the wife is much happier here too.
thanks,
jeff
