Dvd Fab 5.0.1.2
i got new key code for defab platnum then i try to get defab 5.012 to work now it says epired license please help

im still haveing problems it says my liscese expired in october 10 2000 i just bought it today can some 1 help i got key code for 4020 first then i clicked on 5x beta for new code and thats when it sayed it is expired

Has anyone loaded 5.0.1.2 on linux ?
ubuntu 8.04lts specifically?

bought another copy this morning to put on my test linux computer, thought i read somewhere that v5 works on linux
But key will not work

If you bought it Today, just e-mail support from the main FAB Website and let them know your problem. I am sure they will fix it. You must still have the-mail receipt of your purchase, just send that along in your e-mail to support.

Fab has a trial period where you can use it for free so this does not happen. Did you try it first? Most of these applications do not work on Linux.

I am having the same problem. I downloaded ver. 5.0.1.2 and requested a new key. When I put that key in, it says my licensed expired October of 2000. I bought ver. 4 6 months ago. I emailed support but in the meantime, anyone have a clue what to do? I also clicked on renew my license but it said it couldn;t find my e-mail address( which is wierd since they just sent me the key ) Anyhoo, any thoughts??

It has nothing to do with running XP, I am running XP Pro SP2 and having no problem as the maojority runs XP , we would have heard of this issue before this. Where did you buy your V4 ? If you did not buy it from the FAB Website, then maybe you should contact who sold it to you. If you did then e-mail DVD FAB on their webpage with your e-mail and activation codes.

I did buy mine from the fab website and have never had any problems. I did send an email from the website and hopefully will hear back soon. In the meantime, at least I still have version 4 up and running.

I bet they are doing a database update or performing maintance on the servers causing this issue with the V5 keys..just a guess
