A google search shows I'm not the only one.

I'm a registered user of DVDFab and just tried beta3 -- still fails about 5 minutes in. Symptom: stops reading from DVD but continues to write VTS_02_1.VOB as though it was decoding. Then it writes VTS_02_2.VOB etc and then eventually errors out a long time later.

Had no problems copying main move using Express 2.9.?? That was a while back so don't remember which version. Which mode of Beta 3 are you using and is it latest beta? You have to check first post in the beta section almost daily because it has been updated several times, but down load is change in the first post.

Well, I'll try main movie only. I tried latest beta and 2.9, same symptoms.

No dice, still won't copy using Main Movie option.

Which region is the original different regions sometimes have different protections.

Hi,

Please send us all the .IFO files on Original disc, then we will check the problem.

A recommended way is listed below:
1) Open an Explorer window, and navigate to VIDEO_TS folder of the DVD.
2) Copy all files ending with .IFO to hard disk.
3) ZIP the IFO files on hard disk to one file. Name it with a readable filename, like Stealth_UK.zip.
4) Send the zip file to fengtao(at)dvdidle.com, you need replace (at) with @.

I have checked the files and don't find any problem. I think the disc is bad, so that DVDFab cannot read file VTS_02_1.VOB, etc.

But I can copy the files off the DVD without error.

What I mean is that I can copy them (still encrypted to the PC) without a read error and the movie plays fine. I have two DVD drives and DVDFab errors out on these disks using both drives.

Update: DVDFab Platinum (3.0.1.3) copies the movie fine, DVDFab Express (v2.9.8.5) can't.

Try the new 3.0.1.5 I think you will be plasantly surprized.
