| Re: DVD 5 vs DVD 9 DVD5 is a single layer disc (4,37 GiB) DVD9 is double layer disc (7,92 GiB) so if you want to burn your movie to a SL disc choose DVD5, of DL choose DVD5

| Re: DVD 5 vs DVD 9 Quote:
if you want to copy the movie to your hard drive and keep the Quality and burn to a DVD9 later then select the DVD9, BUT if you will be burning the movie onto a DVD5 disc then you may want to select DVD5 this way DVDFab can compress it down to fit the SL disc....it is up to you. I and other DVDFab users have compress at 60% and can't see that much difference during playback ![]() EDIT...just seen you last post after typing this SO ..just select DVD9

| Re: DVD 5 vs DVD 9 If you have enough space on your HDD choose DVD9. DVD9 will need no trancoding so, the ripping will be much faster, but the result will take up to 8 GiB. DVD5 will take only 4,37 GiB, but the movie needs to be recompressed, so it will take longer and the quality may get a little worse.
