When it works, it works great but when it doesn't.....
WHEN you are unhappy with the product, you will NEVER have a chance at getting a refund. They are located outside of the US so they can basically do whatever they want. Why do you think they refer you to a forum for help and don't have any contact numbers listed ? I was also promised lifetime free upgrades. Now they don't even offer DVDFAB EXPRESS anymore. I also purchased DVDFAB GOLD ( like a fool ) and now, just like every other time I try to update it- nothing.
There are a lot better products out there and a lot of companies that WILL stand behind their product.

Now that you have had your say; how about listing the problems you are having and let's see if other happy users can help you out. The author of the program visits frequently and might just have a fix for you.

I don't own this product (yet) but have tried some of the beta versions posted here.

This is obviously your first post with this "User name" but have you tried posting your problem here to see if the members can help you with your problems?

Fengtao (the author) often visits these pages and offers support/answers here for users.

You will find that many of the users here might also have had issues in the past but have sorted them out and given half a chance you might get yours sorted out as well.

Alan 1476- What, people aren't allowed to post negative comments on this forum ?
I have went through all of this BS with DVDFAB and have sent them e-mail after e-mail and I have reached the point where it is not worth it to me. Regardless of what I'm told on this forum, they WILL NOT refund my money as I have tried to accomplish that through e-mails.
As far as your threat ( "Do not make me say it again" ) well, if you want only DVDFAB ass kissers on this forum, then by all means- delete my post. I won't re post it.
Heaven forbid someone should get on here and actually be honest about all of the BS and problems with the product and company.

The author of the program offered you a refund, what more do you want, other members have offered you help, if you won't post your problems and you will not take the Author up on his refund, then I guess you have no more to say. The truth is that the program is owned and loved by many, most of the problems people experience are due to thing that can be fixed, but if you won't tell us what the problem is, then no one can help you and posting nasty things are just not needed.

No problems running DVDFab products here.

You and thousands of others who know how to use the program. He just wants to vent, I am not going to pay any attention to this anymore. After help was offered and a refund there is really nothing more to be accomplished here.

I had a little problems with the program
But with all the help from everybody here at CDfreeks everything is good now
so just give the product and the other happy user a chance to help you before you go off the wall and have a bad hair day

The whole intent of these forums is to either seek help or give help - constructive criticism is always appreciated - but when we offer to help and the company representative offers a refund - continued criticism is no longer constructive nor fair-eh!

Please take up fengtaos offer and be more polite to an author that works day and night to bring IMO the best all in one program ever created or learn how to use it we are all here to help not diss a companies hard work!!

I think the OP was just venting, with that Screenanme he is likely not appear again, although I hope he does and let us help him.

If Fengtao had to provide individualized hand-holding support the product would cost $400. Forum support, where we help each other, in effect earns us a discount on a very sophisticated piece of software and allows Fengtao to concentrate on improvements and new features. I prefer this to paying alot more for it in the first place. It has worked well for me but (obviously) is not everyone's cup of tea.

Clearly you have not tried all these other programs as many of us have. The support, frequency of updates, and in general the program are excellent - by themselves as well as compared to other burning software. I tend to believe that many of the problems I read about are due to user error - both in using the program and in using a computer in general!! Routine maintenance is essential!

For myself Allan1476 has said it all. Whenever I have needed help, it was forthcoming. Either from Fengtao or from the forum. What more do you need?

While I hope that your problems can be addressed and rectified, if you would have just taken a little time to read, you would have known that Fab Express users were upgraded free of charge to Fab Gold. Stick around for a while on the forum, and I think you will have a change of heart about the Fab products. The support is actually second to none.

I wasn't going to bother replying to this thread, but it got the best of me. NOWHERE have I seen the author of a FREE program like FabDecrypter take so much time to assist those of us who might have a glitch with his software. Several versions ago, when the GUI went from the old style to the newer look, I had a problem. Fengtao e-mailed a response on this forum AND he personally e-mailed me with a cure. Anyone got that kind of assistance from Nero or the likes? Don't think so! I used to hang around another similar forum but due to the sniping and sarcasm that has taken hold, I've moved on to this place. The assistance given here is without equal! Just witness this thread...Keep up the atmosphere folks. It's appreciated by most.
