Copying VTS files

Hi All
My original disc one season 1 of hogans hero's cracked and is unplayable. My problem is that the back up I had made of this disc has problems. I copied it with the old fab express and all the chapters are messed up. Only my Sony home unit and the PC will play it. Chapter 1 actually has episode 1 and most of 2 chapter 2 has the end of episode 2 all of 3 and the start of 4 etc etc etc...
Platinum will not show breakdown on movie only.
I copied the vts files I want from this back up to my hard drive using Nero 7 Ultra edition. However, even though I can play these vts files with showtime player on my pc, Nero encounters errors when attempting to burn these vts files to disc.
To make a long story short, How can I copy VTS files from my hard drive?
Can Platinum do it???
Thanks
Steve

Re: Copying VTS files

I know noth-thing, NOTH-THING! (and some here will agree.) I'm not entirely sure I understand the problem with the backup you have. Is it the IFO files that are messed up or the VOBs? And what is the effect of the problem when you try to play the disc? Platinum will copy and burn the files for you but I can't be sure whether you should use Customize or some other mode. Please give a little fuller explanation along with an error codes generated or displayed, etc.
