| Re: computer locks up Try giving a little more information, it will make it easier for someone to help you. For starters, are you copying DVD to DVD, DVD to DVD layout on hard disk, or converting to a mobile format? And including the relevant section of your DVDfab log file in your post could be helpful. Without knowing any more, the first thing that occurs to me is to check and make sure you have enough free space on your hard disk. Also, if you are creating an ISO, be sure the output folder is on an NTFS partition, not FAT32. But without more specific information, that's just a wild-ass guess. Other things to try: Different DVD drive if you have more than one on the system; different media (Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden recommended).

| Re: computer locks up And also try cleaning the DVD beforehand. Will the DVD play in your computer?

| Re: computer locks up Hello bilzer and welcome to the CDFreaks ! Another thing you might try is to defrag your HHD if you haven't done so recently ok. And like Gregiboy recommended, make sure the movie disk is clean. How up to date is your firmware on your DVD burner ? And finally, I too recommend you post a burn log. That will give a lot of info of exactly whats going on. Good luck. ~ Mike
