Change frame rate after conversion?

Hi all,
I've been using DVDFab Platinum to back up my DVDs and to add them to my Zune. After some trial and error, I've realized that I've been converting at way too high a frame bit rate, making my .WMV files larger then they need to be to look good on my 3.2 inch screen!
Does anyone know of an easy (ie. fast!) way to re-save the .WMV file at a lower frame bit rate, or will I need to take the long route and re-convert these DVDs to .WMV?
Thanks in advance!
Greg

Re: Change frame rate after conversion?

You could try Windows Media Encoder which is a free download from Microsoft..

I would not though, as any video that is encoded twice is never as good quality as one which is encoded to the correct specifications the first time.

I, personally, would go back to the original source and re-encode at the right bitrate.
