| Cannot copy Judgment at Nuremberg Tried to copy Judgment at Nuremberg on two different computers and three different DVD burners and I'm getting a failed notice. On the processing list it states the following: Task_2 failed! Error=116. Does anyone know what this refers to? |

| Re: Cannot copy Judgment at Nuremberg Hi Dennis617 and welcome to cdfreaks, Error 116 refers to a burn failure, really very non-specific. Yikes, 3 different burners and 2 pcs failed with this one... ![]() There should be something useful in your burn logs. Could you please post a couple and from different pcs...it'll help a great deal...I hope. The default location is: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

| Re: Cannot copy Judgment at Nuremberg Thanks Maineman, but this seems like a moot point now. I tried it one more time in my laptop which seems to be my best bet for making DVD movie copies. When all else fail this one seems to work. Maybe it's the slower recording speed or reading speed and maybe the original wasn't in perfect condtion but this time it worked fine. Thanks again. |

| Re: Cannot copy Judgment at Nuremberg My first place to look would be at what media you are using, I always burn at 1/2 the rated speed of the media, with the exception of Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden media, which I only buy 8X and burn at 8X. ![]()

| Re: Cannot copy Judgment at Nuremberg I use Maxell 16x or TDK Professional 16x DVD-R's and usually let the software pick the speed, but maybe I'll try your suggestion and 1/2 the speed and see if it gives me more consistant results. Thanks again. |
