| Burning DVD-R in DVDFab Platinum I note in DVDFab Platinum, I've a choice of using Packet Writing or SAQ Writing when burning DVD-R's. What's the difference between the two? Which one should I use if I want the finished disc playable on a regular DVD player? Thanks for any help. |

SAO is preferred with -R media. I say this because many users run into problems with -R and packet writing and when they switch to SAO, their burning problems disappear. Both work well for me with +R and -R. Personally, I have mine configured to SAO

| Re: Burning DVD-R in DVDFab Platinum I use mainly DVD+, but have never had any problems with DVD-. DVD- is an older format than DVD+.
