Bug in Platinum? - Audio Bitrate

Hi,
Not sure if anyone else is experiening this. But when I use the DVD to Mobile function DVDFab ignores my user setting in the Audio Bitrate box, and encodes the movie with whatever the default bitrate of the profile is (Easy way to check the audio value is open under Quicktime and click "Movie info" under "Window" menu. I experimented by copying an exisiting profile and editing the bitrate under notepad and yes the new encoded movie had the edited value. I'm suggesting that DVDFab is ignoring any user input in the drop down box in favour of the default values. I haven't had the time to experiement with all the other drop down boxes, but the audio is the only one I've pick up thus far.
Cheers
Alan

Re: Bug in Platinum? - Audio Bitrate

Hi, alan

I have tested this problem, all file show the correct "Audio Bitrate" value and which value is my selection from "Audio Bitrate (kbps)" combox control.

I cannot use QuickTime to check the Audio bitrate value, but I can use "MediaInfo" to check this value.

Please tell me which profile is your used.

Thanks!

Re: Bug in Platinum? - Audio Bitrate

Thanks for the reply.

I've had a closer look and it seems that I have been confusing bitrate with the frequency value. Thanks for confirming all was okay on your side.

On another note the generic proflie "generic.avi.xvid.mp3.dvdfab.xml" reads <freq value="48000" list="32000,441000,48000" /> - should the value 441000 not read 44100 ?

The same with "generic.mp4.h264.aac.dvdfab.xml"

Thanks
Alan

You are right, this value should be "44100".

Thank you !!
