DVDFab / DVD Region+CSS Free Discuss, Broken Warranty? at Copy Movie forum; This is probably a silly question, but I'm not very computer minded! I'm interested in this product because my laptop dvd player has limited regional changes. However I am worried about the warranty of my laptop being broken because I have this software. Can it affect the warranty?

Hi pennylane60 and welcome to cdfreaks,

No, unless you use hacked or 3rd party firmware. This would void your burner warranty.

Thankyou for replying so quickly.
And I do not have enough computer knowledge to hack into the software! So I don't think that will be a problem!
I was just going to buy it for the DVD region function...it's all I'd be able to manage...!

You'll love the software.
You'd be surprised at what kind of knowledge you can pick up hangin' around cdf and playing with the software.
Anyway, enjoy...and welcome aboard.
