Not unusual at all that you find the need to tweak/adjust some settings. The following settings work great for me...note the volume (%) of 300...too many hours in my youth spent with jimi hendrix... This configuration works well even when viewed on a 32" tv, Ipod to tv via a $6.99 patch cord. Decent video and volume without any distortion... Hope this helps.
