| Anamorphic? Image filters? Using 4.1.2.0 Platinum I'm trying to make some h264 avi's for my Cowon A3. It's a 16:9 device (800x480) , but when I try to copy an anamorphic NTSC DVD, my only choices are for square pixel resolutions. So instead of encoding 720 pixels wide, I have to encode closer to 800. Is there a way to output either the original resolution (720x480) or to make anamorphic resolutions? Also, what image filter is being used to resize the video? No matter what I try, I keep getting soft images. A sinc or Mitchell-Netravali filter might do better, but I don't see any indication of what is being used currently. - Chad |
