Please "Note" adding a program to the DEP Exception list does not always mean that program will work but it can help some programs to run ![]()

| Re: Adding DVDFab to the DEP Exception List on Vista I did the clean uninstall as suggested and reinstall as you suggested, but the problem continued. I tried adding DVDFab to the exception list on vista but it wouldn't let me. Then DVDFab on my laptop which runs on Vista Home Premium did the same thing. So I removed DVD Platinum from both systems. I had previously had to remove Cyberlink DVD and Nero due to Vista incompatabilities. I have been left with Vista DVD Maker which is part of Home Premium to create DVD (ISO) files. NOW I am getting a DPE closing down its own software. I use Avast anti viral software as well as run Windows defender and Adaware. I run spybot occassionally too. All are clear. The Dell Techs tell me I should roll back my desktop to XP until the Vista Service Pack is released earkly next year. I expect I will do this and reinstall DVD Fab. |

| Re: Adding DVDFab to the DEP Exception List on Vista Hi Welcome onboard whycompromise. With the latest couple of editions of DVDFab you shouldn't need to bother with any of the above. I am running both 32 & 64 bit versions of Vista Ultimate without any problems whatsoever. Have UAC enabled currently too. |
