| 2 Fab versions on same pc.. I updated Platinum to 4.0.1.2 .and checked OK to put a shortcut to desktop. I have always done this and it replaced the previous shortcut till now. I now have 2 shortcuts and 2 programs,, Free and Platinum... should I un-check that option for future updates [ which could appear before this post is finished,,lol Also, should I also un-install free FabHD as I still have it active on my pc.. thank u........ |

| Re: 2 Fab versions on same pc.. i wouldnt think that having both platinum and hd decrypter would cause problems.  ive noticed when i updated from dvdfab platinum 4010 to 4012 i had 2 (two) separate installations of dvdfab. and even though i also have fab 3018 installed, 3018 did not show up in add/remove programs in control panel, regseeker, ccleaner or registry fast. i just did a clean uninstall and am using 4012 now with no problems. hopefully the next update does not do this. troy
