DvdReMake Discuss, VTS 1 AND Menus below are in red at Copy Movie forum; One movie I've been trying to merge is showing the Video Title Set 1 and Menus in red and the test export will play this movie only for a second before it stops. The other movie plays alright. The problem movie on its own however, will export and play

VTS 1 AND Menus below are in red

One movie I've been trying to merge is showing the Video Title Set 1 and Menus in red and the test export will play this movie only for a second before it stops. The other movie plays alright. The problem movie on its own however, will export and play as intended. This movie only has one Video Title Set.

Hover over the red PGCs and find out what DVDRMNP says is wrong with your structure. Without any precise info, we cannot divine how to help you.

Re: VTS 1 AND Menus below are in red

Sorry for the omission.

It says:

VTS 1/Menu en/PGC 1/cell cmd 1 >> Cell command is not assigned to any PGC cell
VTS 1/Menu en/PGC 1/cell cmd 2 >> Cell command is not assigned to any PGC cell

This is the same for PGCs 1 to 8.

And in Menus en,

PGCs 1 to 4, which shows a description for the PGC, is 0.00 Mb.

PGCs 5 to 9 has no description and each of these is a small size.

Thanx,
okizen

Ignore these. Unassigned cell commands are just "fat". If you want, you can get rid og them without any adverse effects.

Re: VTS 1 AND Menus below are in red

I agree with blutach for PGC1 to 4, since there is no video.
In PGC5 to 8, there is a video, so if any of those cells are just background with buttons to chose next step, at the end of the cell play the DVD will stop if none of the buttons is clicked before.
Cell command could have been just to go back and repeat the cell play till any button is pressed.

PGC1 to 4 is only commands, that is why 0.00 MB
PGC5 to 9 has video, that is why small size of MB

Check that those layter ones with video are stills (cell still time of 255). That would mean that the only way to move is via the buttons and that's the way God intended things to be

YES! This is EXACTLY the problem I am having, and it seems to be on dvds that have come out in the last year or so.
