Summary of DVDReMake vs. DVDReMake Pro differences? I can not for the life of me find this anywhere. One is $35 and the other is $50. What are the differences between the two versions??? All I could find, without going thru the web pages point-by-point and comparing them, was this at cdr-zone.

Re: Summary of DVDReMake vs. DVDReMake Pro differences? You can find a list of feature summaries for each product at the main website: http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremake/index.php http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/index.php Basically, the Pro version can do everything the regular version can and lots more, such as 1) Merge up to 4 discs, 2) See the details of VM commands, 3) Delete unwanted items in addition to hiding them, 4) Use the debug player to trace the DVD navigation flow, etc. You can download the demo of each product and see what it looks like.

Re: Summary of DVDReMake vs. DVDReMake Pro differences? Thanks for your reply--I guess what I should have done is asked if Remake only would do what I want which is: select a location and split a cell so I can assign a new layer break to a DL disc. I'm attracted to ReMake's audio preview capability. Will Remake do this, or do I need Pro? I know, you might say why not just go for Pro for $15 more--I hafta admit that probably most of its features are over my head.

Re: Summary of DVDReMake vs. DVDReMake Pro differences? Yes, DvdReMake can split a cell multiple times so there are more possible layer break positions for you to choose in a burning program, such as Imgburn. Just think what you may need to do in the future and the investment savings and choose which product is best for you. Of course, you can always upgrade later, but the total cost (regular + upgrade) would be more than just purchasing the Pro alone. Good luck in your decision.

I think I will try the demo, and then likely go with Pro if for no other reason than it seems there are more Pro users than for the basic product. And as you said upgrading later would be more costly... ![]() | |
