DvdReMake Discuss, R(0) = 0 syntax meaning at Copy Movie forum; I regularly see to 'R(0), R(1), etc. in pre and post command lists in DVDReMake . I wonder what these refer to? Hubchy

I regularly see to 'R(0), R(1), etc. in pre and post command lists in DVDReMake. I wonder what these refer to?

These are registers, aka GPRM (General Purpose Registers), which are used to hold the value via assignment statement and are used in comparison and branching statement.

There are 16 (R[0]..R[15]) registers available for use.

It all depends on how it is used. Try to use the debugger and trace through in Step mode and look at how the registers are being assigned and used.
