I borrowed a bunch of 24 episodes from a friend and these are split with 2 episodes with full menus per DVD-5 disc (that is the first 2 hours on disc 1 and last 2 hours on disc 2), I want to merge them back into a single DVD like the original so I can burn it on double layer disc

I'm using DVDRemake Pro 3.4 and can't find a tutorial showing ahow to do episodic dvds, I tried a few things but the exported DVD didn't work correctly

Update to 3.5.3 first and use the Merge DVD function. It combines 2 discs to 1 that was split by DVDFab.

If you want exactly like the original DVD before the split, then the easiest way is to copy from the original.

Well, without the files, I can't be specific. I don't know how DVDFab does its split, so it's a guess in the dark. Let's say disc 1 contains all the menus and first part of movie, and disc 2 contains the last part of movie, then this supposedly to be simple to join back.

Use Copy PGC on disc 2 and Append copied PGC to disc 1. Then define the chapters for the appended programs. Fix the chapter links in the chapter menu as well.
