dvdremake gives me black menu, cant see links

I must be retarded... I'm new to DVD merging...I'm trying to merge 2 home videos, both have menus that I'd like to retain... dvdremake is supposed to be perfect for this...HA!

used dvdremake 3.5.3 to make merger, and with no edit i get this...

when i do the test dvd, i get a black screen... i can hover over at least one of the links to one dvd, i click, it goes to that dvd menu, but still black.. i can again hover over that menu link (only one), can click, and nothing..just black

If I do debug mode, everything works fine...

Also, if I export DVD, then try to burn with DVDShrink.. I get something like "...invalid VIDEO_TS..." or maybe it says corrupt instead of invalid... but something like that.

After all this, tries fussing with the settings, but no luck... like I said, I don't understand the structure completely...I've seen to stumble on bits and pieces on how it works...any way... any help...please..........

This problem has been reported many times. The solution is to use a registered version.

Thanks for the reply. Can you point us to a thread where the original poster said 'It doesn't work', then 'After I bought the program and registered it, it works.'

It's hard to believe a software company would offer a trial version that doesn't work, then ask you to buy it.

Search and ye shall find. Here is ONE of them. Also read THIS. The OP's problem is too common. Registered version will not have this problem. Also, it is hard to believe that all menus are black before any editing.

If the demo doesn't work, there would be many reports already, including me. The same can be said of registered version. 3.5.3 has been stable for many months.

Have you tried the demo yet that you say it doesn't work. What doesn't work, you need to be specific? If there is a reproducible problem and someone reports it, it will be fixed.
